Meet Dr. Stewart

Dr. Stewart completed his master's degree program in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University and graduated with honors and distinction at the top of his class. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and was trained at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore City. During his residency training, Dr. Stewart developed an emergency ultrasound fellowship program for emergency doctors. He was awarded the Emergency Medicine Distinguished Service Award at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Stewart has spent seven years as a managing partner in the emergency department at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was an associate professor at the Georgetown University Medical School. He currently has privileges at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

A Maryland native, Dr. Stewart has over a decade of experience helping patients overcome symptoms of venous insufficiency using ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy and other outpatient procedures to relieve patients suffering from venous disease. He is the Regional Medical Director for Maryland North and the Chemical Ablation and Sclerotherapy Program Director with Center for Vein Restoration.

Vein treatment options
