Shekeeb Sufian, MD, FACS
Shekeeb Sufian, MD, FACS is a resident of Florida, and travels extensively across the country in his role as Director of Research and Director of Vascular Laboratories at the Center for Vein Restoration. His extensive research in the field of vein disease is key to developing CVR’s high standards of training for physicians and vascular technicians across our network of clinics.
An esteemed member of the Center for Vein Restoration family, Doctor Sufian leads our team in clinical studies designed to add to the medical knowledge related to the diagnosis and treatment of venous insufficiency. His tireless dedication has contributed greatly to the medical community’s ability to identify this condition and its risk factors, exploring and measuring ways to improve the comfort and quality of life of people with chronic venous insufficiency through supportive care.
Having access to the Center for Vein Restoration’s vast database of clinical diagnoses and outcomes, Dr. Sufian continues to document his research findings, publishing more than 35 papers in refereed medical journals. As a sought-after speaker, he has presented his research findings and abstracts to audiences at national medical conferences such as the Annual ACP Congress and the American Venous Forum Annual Meeting.
Dr. Shekeeb Sufian is Board Certified, and received his medical education at the American University of Beirut, School of Medicine, Lebanon; the Haile Selassie I University, School of Medicine, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; and at the Hahnemann Medical College & Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
