The Vein Center Located in Alexandria
Old Town Alexandria, located about 5 miles to the east of the Center for Vein Restoration, is the heart and soul of Alexandria. It’s a designated historic district that was once home to the country’s first president, George Washington. Today, the district is home to more than 200 shops and restaurants, plus numerous historical museums and a waterfront area. It is also home to the country’s oldest farmer’s market, which operates on Saturdays. A free trolley, the King Street Trolley, travels along the main commercial street in the Old Town section of Alexandria. It makes stops every two blocks between the Old Town Metro station and the waterfront. It operates seven days a week, running every 10 minutes or so.
The Center for Vein Restoration in Alexandria is located at the Northeast corner of N. Beauregard Street and Mark Center Drive. The Center is approximately halfway, about two miles, from both Lake Barcroft and the Potomac River, as well as the National Mall, which makes an excellent opportunity for reconnecting with history and health simultaneously. Access is also easy from the north via I-495 and south via I-95.
To access the clinic from the south, head north on I-395. Take the number 4 exit. Turn left onto Seminary Road. Make a second left on N. Beauregard Street, and take the first available right onto Mark Center Drive. The clinic will be on the right.
Accessing our clinic from the north is also easy. Take the southbound lanes of the George Washington Memorial Parkway from where I-495 crosses the Potomac. Continue south, and take the right-hand exit to I-395. Continue on I-395 for about 4.5 miles, and make a right onto Seminary Road, passing the Finn & Porter restaurant on the left, perfect for that after-appointment meal. Continue on Seminary Road, turning on N. Beauregard Street and Mark Center Drive as noted previously.
Also, an alternate route avoiding the busy highways is to take the southwest lanes of S. Walter Reed Drive from the Barcroft Park. S. Walter Reed Drive turns into N. Beauregard Street about a mile past Barcroft Park. Upon reaching Mark Center Driver, turn right, and our clinic is conveniently located in Suite 310.
