After decades of treating patients in the emergency room, Dr. Gayton is highly skilled in performing procedures in emergency and non-emergency settings. Dr. Gayton cites her genuine interest in her patients' lives as well as her experience using the most up-to-date techniques to treat vein disease, for her success as a physician. Even while focusing on their veins, Dr. Gayton makes sure that she takes a few minutes to discuss overall health goals with her patients.
Dr. Gayton understands what it feels like to have the itching, burning, and cramping associated with vein disease. She, too, has had her own experience with venous insufficiency due to long periods spent standing while working in the emergency room. Dr. Gayton sought an evaluation and underwent vein treatment.

More About Dr. Gayton
Dr. Gayton is an experienced, board-certified emergency room physician who witnessed the pain and disability caused by chronic venous insufficiency during her more than 20 years in the ER. After seeing the depilating effects caused by improper functioning of the vein valves in the leg, Dr. Gayton decided to dedicate her career to helping these patients suffering from pain, cramping, swelling, ulcers, lymphedema, and other symptoms of vein disease.
As a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Dr. Gayton has undergone additional medical training and demonstrates the highest professional standing in her field. She is also a member of the American Vein & Lymphatic Society (AVLS).
