Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, CA, followed by a residency in General Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ. He subsequently did a two-year Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ.
He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery (with added qualifications In General Vascular Surgery), is a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Anderson is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
After experiencing the discomfort of chronic venous insufficiency firsthand, Dr. Anderson turned his professional focus to venous disease—diagnosing and treating venous disease using advanced, office-based techniques.
