Meet the Doctors Who Serve North Carolina

Greensboro and Winston-Salem

Brent Greenberg, MD, DABVLM, FAAFP, RPhS, earned his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences / The Chicago Medical School. Upon graduation from medical school, he completed his residency as chief resident at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's / Illinois Masonic Medical Centers. Dr. Greenberg then served as a family physician for ten years, during which time he witnessed first-hand the discomfort and debilitation caused by venous disease among his patients. This inspired him to pursue treating vein disease primarily.

Dr. Greenberg is an author and a television medical expert live-telecast commentator.

Mark Featherston, MD, DABVLM, graduated from Duke University School of Medicine, earning his medical degree before completing a residency in Family Medicine. After practicing primary care medicine in Greensboro, North Carolina, for a decade, Dr. Featherston focused on treating the leg pain, swelling, burning, throbbing, and cramping associated with venous disease. He was among the first class of physicians to pass the certification exam offered by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM).

Using his advanced education and training in disorders of the veins, Dr. Featherston became a regional medical director responsible for training and supervising physicians, nurses, and ultrasonographers in the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating vein disease.
