The Vein Center Located in Herndon
Patients can easily access the office in Elden Plaza by driving on Route 7 north of Herndon and then heading south on the Fairfax County Parkway (State Route 286). The Elden Street office is on Route 606, a four-lane road divided by a median, just 200 feet from the Herndon exit of the Fairfax County Parkway. Those driving from outside the immediate area can reach the office via Interstates 66, 95, and 495 and access the Dulles Toll Road, followed by picking up the Fairfax County Parkway northbound. The center is just around the corner from the Reston Hospital Center and is in the same shopping plaza as the Outback Steakhouse, approximately half a mile from Herndon’s historic district.
Meet Dr. Nguygen
Prior to joining the Center for Vein Restoration, Dr. Nguyen earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Virginia. Upon returning to the Washington area, she completed a residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center. While there, she had the opportunity to develop a special expertise in the use of ultrasound technology, a skill that has benefited her venous insufficiency patients. She was also named an Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown.
In 16 years of medical practice, Dr. Nguyen has completed more than 1,000 venous ablations. She is board-certified in venous and lymphatic disease. Her special interests include treating venous ulcers and stasis dermatitis, as well as the use of sclerotherapy and other procedures for vein care that is minimally invasive.
