So I have had a journey. I couldn’t feel my toes. I had everything checked prior, and even had weight loss surgery to prevent diabetes, as it was prevalent in my family: no diabetes nor any other medically testable reason to have neuropathy in my
feet. Journey began at the podiatrist, who, after a few visits, referred me to a spine clinic for potential pinched nerves, as I had back pain. After PT and several procedures for back/nerve issues, I decided to entertain a consult for my only other thought…my achy, varicose-ridden, RLS legs. This led me to Dr. Moore at the Vein Restoration Clinic in Marietta. I was met by the most amazing receptionist, Wendy, who has gone above and beyond in helping me navigate scheduling, ordering compression, and answering many questions (and I always have many). Overall, I had 7 Phlebectomy procedures, verathena treatments, RFA treatments, and let me just tell you now… I CAN FEEL MY TOES! I was in near tears! However, I was too busy feeling my toes in my shoes, on the grass etc to cry. Elated! Minimal discomfort throughout the procedures and I was able to continue my day with minimal interruptions. The staff were personable, quick, and thorough. Polite to answer my questions (Yes I always have questions.) and great sense of humor. Dr. Moore is a pleasant man with an entertaining bedside manner. He will keep you talking and comfortable throughout the procedures and loves to tell you stories. Great pleasure getting to know him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Moore and his team. Thank you from
The top of my head to my very happy toes.
