Lakhanpal Vein Foundation (LVF), Center for Vein Restoration (CVR), and Center for Vascular Medicine (CVM), in collaboration with Heart and Sole Africa (HASA), support medi for help in Project Heart & Sole. This powerful partnership seeks to raise vital funds for education, compression therapy, and much-needed treatment for those affected by this devastating condition. Since 2012, HASA has provided life-changing education and hygiene equipment at more than eleven locations, offering critical support to combat this chronic disease.
Also known as non-filarial elephantiasis or 'mossy foot disease,' podoconiosis is a painful lymphatic disease primarily affecting the lower limbs. Its impact is profound, robbing those affected of their social and emotional well-being, isolating them from their communities, and creating a barrier to living a full and productive life.
