Calcagno & Rossi Vein Treatment Center is now part of Center for Vein Restoration

Calcagno & Rossi Vein Treatment Center has been long known for its outstanding patient care, board-certified doctors, and clinical expertise. Through this partnership, exceptional venous care will be available to more Mechanicsburg residents than ever before.

Center for Vein Restoration (CVR), the national leader in treating varicose and spider veins, has announced a new partnership with Dr. David Calcagno and Dr. John Rossi. Their Mechanicsburg practice will be joining CVR, marking the organization’s fifth location in Pennsylvania and over 100 locations nationwide.

Practicing together for the last 14 years, Dr. Calcagno and Dr. Rossi have brought relief to patients suffering from venous disorders in and around their community. Both physicians are board-certified vascular surgeons with over 30 years’ experience, respectfully, and are active members of the American College of Phlebology as well as the American College of Surgeons.

“Improving the quality of life for patients with venous disorders has been our commitment from the very beginning,” stated Dr. Calcagno. “This new partnership with CVR will give our team more opportunity to see that purpose further,” he concluded.

Dr. Rossi echoed some of the efficiencies that will be had with the new venture. “CVR has built an infrastructure that is centered around what is best for the patient. A main part of that is getting the physician more time to focus on outcomes, rather than cumbersome administrative tasks that come with running your own practice.”

In one of the most challenging years on record, Center for Vein Restoration has continued to take strides in expanding care throughout the nation in 2020.

“Through all the challenges that 2020 presented, I’m so proud of our efforts to serve our mission in providing state-of-the-art venous care in our communities, in a safe and affordable manner,” said Dr. Sanjiv Lakhanpal, CEO & President of CVR. “Our partnership with these two incredible, renowned physicians in Dr. Calcagno and Dr. Rossi exemplifies how bright our future is, especially when we work together,” Dr. Lakhanpal exclaimed.

ABOUT VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY

Venous insufficiency, the cause of significant suffering due to the sequelae of venous hypertension, most commonly arises as achy, tired and heavy legs. It may or may not be associated with varicose veins, spider veins or skin changes including venous ulcerations and indiscriminately affects between 30–40 million Americans. Numerous factors including age, weight, prolonged sitting or standing, genetics or a history of DVT (blood clots) can increase the risk of developing this common and often underdiagnosed disorder. Treatment options have evolved to an array of minimally invasive procedures in an office setting.
