A proud Texas Aggie, Dr. Hansen earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where he was a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. He then completed rigorous surgical residencies at Baylor College of Medicine and Emory University, where he trained under some of the most renowned leaders in cardiovascular surgery.
In addition to his medical expertise, he holds an MBA from Texas A&M University, further demonstrating his commitment to leadership in healthcare.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hansen has held key leadership positions in both clinical and academic settings, serving as CEO and Chief Medical Officer for multiple organizations. He has also contributed extensively to research and innovation, including serving as Medical Director for several cutting-edge medical technology companies. His dedication to education extends beyond patient care—he has mentored aspiring medical professionals and served on the BioMedical Engineering Advisory Board at Texas A&M University.
