Lindy McHutchison, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Southern California Los Angeles County Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. After experiencing symptoms of vein disease for which she was treated, her interest in venous disease was ignited. She retrained with notable physicians in the field of vascular surgery and became a leader in diagnosing and treating venous insufficiency syndromes.

Dr. McHutchison is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. She is deeply committed to lipedema management, is part of the United States of America Lipedema Standard of Care Consensus Committee, and is an expert collaborator with the Fat Disorder Research Society (FDRS).
