About Center for Vein Restoration in Woburn, Massachusetts

The board-certified physician and staff at Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) proudly offer expert vein treatment to those suffering from venous insufficiency (vein disease). The team starts with a thorough initial evaluation. Our highly trained vascular technicians (VT) will perform a non-invasive ultrasound of your legs to “see” your veins and determine the extent of the problem.

Next, your provider, Pamela Kim, MD, RPVI, will meet with you, examine your legs, present your scan findings, and review your treatment options. Then, using innovative, minimally invasive outpatient techniques, Dr. Kim can improve your varicose veins and other symptoms of venous insufficiency, such as leg aching, swelling, burning, itching, cramping, leg ulcers, and spider veins.

Horn Pond is less than two and a half miles from our Woburn vein clinic and spans over 100 acres along the Aberjona River, providing guests with an outdoor oasis perfect for adventure and exploration. A bird watcher’s dream; yellow perch are quite common in the area. Anglers, meanwhile, can delight in fishing for carp, largemouth bass, bluegill, pumpkinseed, chain pickerel, killifish, white sucker, golden shiner, yellow and brown bullhead, brook trout, and black crappie.

History lovers can climb aboard Liberty Ride Guided Trolley Tours, which departs from the Lexington Visitors Center about six and a half miles from our vein clinic. From there, guests will hear about some of the area’s most interesting historic sites from tour guides in authentic periodic attire during the themed 90-minute excursion. Destination highlights include the Henry H. Kitson Minute Man Statue, the Paul Revere Capture Site, homes owned by famous 1800s authors Louisa May Alcott and Ralph Waldo Emerson, Concord’s Old North Bridge, and the site of the first Revolutionary War battle at Lexington Battle Green.

You’ll find even more history—and plenty of other fascinating subjects—between the pages at Woburn Public Library. About two miles from our vein clinic, it was designed by architect H. H. Richardson and built in 1879 before becoming a national landmark. The Woburn Public Library offers resources, including museum passes, newspaper indexes, and online archives, while providing a pleasant environment for reading and research. It’s also a popular gathering site for book clubs and study sessions.

Unlike many others, Woburn’s library provides more than simply books and study opportunities. Its ‘Library of Things’ allows residents to check out fascinating and useful items like car diagnostic scanners, projectors, record players, digital voice recorders, telescopes, and more.

Remember to squeeze in some shopping time at Woburn Village—less than two miles from our clinic and boasts a range of recognizable retailers, top-rated restaurants, and an intelligent, accessible design. The mall provides a full day of fun for the whole family with a seasonal calendar full of live music events, movie showings, and storytime sessions.
