SYLVANIA, Ohio — Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) welcomes Mohamed Riazuddin, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician who recently completed CVR's advanced fellowship in venous and lymphatic medicine. Dr. Riazuddin is now seeing patients at CVR's Sylvania and Oregon clinics.
Dr. Riazuddin brings several years of experience in family and emergency medicine to his work in vein care. His interest in the specialty grew from treating patients with chronic leg pain, swelling, heaviness, skin changes and wounds that were often caused by underlying venous disease.

Dr. Riazuddin said his approach to care begins with listening to patients and making sure they understand their condition and treatment options.
“I want patients to feel they are heard, that they understand their condition and that we made decisions together,” said Dr. Riazuddin.
Dr. Riazuddin treats conditions including chronic venous insufficiency, varicose and spider veins, leg swelling, heaviness and fatigue, venous ulcers and skin changes associated with venous disease.
He completed his family medicine residency with the Choctaw Nation in Talihina, Oklahoma and practiced primary care and emergency medicine in Texas and Oklahoma before completing his advanced fellowship with CVR in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
