CVR is grateful to Dr. Ives for building a culture focused on the patient and always striving to deliver the most favorable clinical outcomes. He has helped thousands of patients live their best lives—comfortably.
And while we are sad that he is leaving his day-to-day duties in Alaska, we are happy that he will have the opportunity to pursue the new adventures that await him. CVR wishes him all the best.

Dr. Liao, a board-certified general surgeon with vast expertise in minimally invasive procedures, has over two decades of experience in private practice and prestigious academic settings. He earned his medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA, as part of the Penn State/Jefferson combined six-year program. He completed a residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD, where he was Chief Resident. He completed his Surgical Endoscopy and Advanced Laparoscopy fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. .
