CVR Congratulates Dr. Schul on His Retirement
We understand that saying goodbye to a devoted healthcare professional is difficult, but that time has come. CVR honors the contributions of Dr. Schul and is proud to introduce to you your Dothan, Alabama vein specialists.
Marlin W. Schul, MD, RVT, DABVLM, has dedicated his career to helping patients dealing with the uncomfortable and unsightly symptoms of varicose vein disease. A mainstay at Center for Vein Restoration (CVR), Dr. Schul has retired from the CVR Dothan, Alabama, clinic.
Dr. Schul’s leadership in venous and lymphatic medicine has helped millions of patients access much-needed care.
In retirement, Dr. Schul is training to hike Machu Picchu next summer. Never slowing down, he plans to travel extensively and spend much more time with his family.

Michael L. Aikens, MD, and Khanh Q. Nguyen DO, RPVI, need no introduction to patients at CVR locations in Maryland, New Jersey, or other Alabama locations. CVR’s Dothan, Alabama, patients will quickly discover Dr. Aikens’ and Nguyen’s passion for vein care and their dedication to providing personalized, state-of-the-art vein treatment to their patients.
Introducing Anna Parkinson, PA-C
An experienced clinical instructor, registered nurse, and charge nurse, Anna Parkinson brings extensive knowledge and passion to the Dothan CVR team. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, licensed by the State of Alabama Board of Nursing, member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
