Dr. Nguyen has been in practice for almost 15 years and is the Corporate Medical Director for Center for Vein Restoration. He has personally performed more than 9,000 venous procedures, trained countless physicians around the country in venous techniques, and has been published in several medical and research journals.

He is Board Certified and on staff at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, and at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. He is certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, as well as, certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. After these rewarding professional milestones, Dr. Nguyen is proud to now serve on the team at Center for Vein Restoration, where the physicians have rededicated their careers bringing relief to patients coping with venous disease.

“It was really a shift toward pursuing what I was most passionate about, vascular access, and the incredible, undeniable results I was seeing in my patients whether that was in addressing how they looked, how they felt, or simply improving their quality of life and overall health.”

“Venous insufficiency is so treatable yet there is a tremendous lack of public and professional knowledge about this fact. Patients needlessly suffer when there are minimally invasive procedures that are extremely effective and truly changes peoples’ lives.”

Dr. Nguyen describes his personal work in the field of venous insufficiency and areas where he has a particular focus:

“I specialize in quick and painless procedures that ensure the best outcomes for my patients and, when necessary, treating ulcers – the highest level of expertise in vascular access.”

In late 2018, Dr. Nguyen completed a case study on Varithena, specifically symptom resolution and wound healing following Varithena treatment. You can read that case study here.
