The Trentvorty Theorem is a website that purports to be an online forum for digital product reviews. It states it attempts to give honest product assessments, but adds it receives a small commission on any product it recommends. Several of the products listed on the website address serious medical issues, such as kidney and heart disease, with the application of “natural” therapeutics. Among the products it offers is the Silken Legs Theorem.
However, when you click on the link for this treatment, you’ll be greeted by a video of a woman who says she suffered from varicose veins for many years and found relief through various non-medical methods. She mentions no medical background. Nearly all of her “cures” are recommendations for exercises and foods that will ostensibly eliminate your varicose veins. She also promotes herbs, aromatherapy, and special juices that supposedly reduce varicose vein pain. To learn more about these remedies, you have to buy a book.
The site claims that varicose vein surgery is expensive, but this is false. Current varicose vein treatments may be covered by your insurance plan if the condition causes you great pain. A vein specialist will work with your insurance carrier on obtaining approval and payment. If the surgery is done for purely cosmetic reasons, it likely won’t be covered. Again, a vein specialist will help you navigate the insurance and payment process.
The video further asserts that surgery will fail to rid you of varicose veins. Instead, it endorses a hodgepodge of diet, exercise, and herbal treatments as the cure-all. Although maintaining a proper weight, eating a healthy diet low in fats and salt, and exercising regularly will ease the pain and swelling of varicose veins, those remedies on their own will not address the underlying cause of varicose veins — insufficient blood flow that leads to enlarged, swollen veins. Only proven medical treatment from a vein specialist will do that. While it’s possible varicose veins may return after surgical treatment, these procedures offer lasting relief from the pain, swelling, and cramping of varicose veins.
Trentvorty Silken Legs Theorem also claims to have been featured on many reputable news outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Chicago Tribune. A search of those websites reveals the product was not mentioned on their pages. Lastly, the Trentvorty Theorem website does not list a physical address for a contact, only an email address. It does state it may use the information gathered from you to send you information on other products you may be interested in — a sure sign this website is simply a grab for your dollars.
