Wayne, Pennsylvania, offers ample opportunities for residents and visitors alike to meet their fitness goals. Yoga is particularly popular in this area, with yoga studios dotted throughout the area. At Center for Vein Restoration, we have a short list of yoga studios for our patients to try.
Prana House Yoga
Prana House Yoga, located in Haverford Square on Lancaster Avenue, is based in the foundations of Ashtanga yoga. The studio calls itself an “institution for health, healing and evolution.” Prana House prides itself on offering a variety of classes to accommodate every fitness level and health goal. The studio also features an “Energy Exchangers” program, which allows yoga enthusiasts the opportunity to take classes for free in exchange for volunteer hours to help maintain the facility.
Purenergy Studio
Purenergy Studio is a unique fitness center located in Paoli. In addition to traditional yoga, you can find classes in aerial yoga, Pilates, boxing, barre and Zumba. Group classes and private instruction are both available. Purenergy also features massage services and programs for kids. This studio is committed to helping members achieve wellness, balance and fitness, in an environment that is welcoming and soothing.
Verge Yoga
The Verge Experience focuses on three daily practices: foundations, which includes stability poses in a supportive environment; stability, which focuses on building a strong base of poses; and flow, which works on the breath and body connection. As members advance they are also able to advance their daily practices to incorporate aerial yoga and opportunities to take stability and flow to the next level. Verge is located on Lancaster Avenue, just east of Bloomingdale Avenue.
Aim High Studio
Since 2011, Aim High Studio has been offering a wide range of yoga and fitness classes to the Wayne community. Both traditional and hot yoga are available, as well as spin classes, kickboxing and barre fitness. The studio also features a number of services for its clients, including massage, meditation, nutrition coaching and personal training. Yoga classes for kids are also available at the Aim High location in Fairview Village.
