Seema Kumar, MD, MPP, is board certified in venous and lymphatic disease and specializes in minimally invasive treatment for patients with superficial venous insufficiency. While practicing internal medicine in Alexandria, Virginia, she became interested in venous insufficiency as a subspecialty and since 2007 has practiced exclusively as a venous disease specialist. An internal medicine residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center followed.
