Dr. Karamichos spent more than a decade in private family practice before shifting his focus to venous disease. By 2007, he was practicing exclusively as a vein physician, performing thousands of procedures. In 2009, he became one of the first physicians in the country to be certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
In 2020, Dr. Karamichos opened his own practice, Region Vein, now part of Center for Vein Restoration. He later earned the added credentials of Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), representing the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation.
Individualized Treatment: He personally manages each patient's treatment plan, rather than handing care off to a rotating team.
Accessible, Dedicated Care: He is committed to being consistently present for his patients, treating varicose and spider veins as his exclusive focus.
Minimally Invasive First: Dr. Karamichos favors minimally invasive approaches that restore healthier legs with less downtime.
Respect and Compassion: Every patient is treated with the same respect and compassion he would want for his own family.
