Dr. Edward Boyle is a board-certified surgeon with a career spanning cardiothoracic surgery, vascular biology research, and medical device innovation. The author of more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and holder of more than 20 U.S. and international patents, he dedicates his practice exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
“My goal has always been to provide the highest-quality vein care in a setting that is accessible, convenient, and centered on what patients truly need. We’re not just treating veins - we're building trust and delivering care patients can feel confident in.”
Dr. Boyle has founded multiple medical device companies and co-founded Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Cardiac Surgery, a not-for-profit patient safety organization. His ongoing involvement in national innovation means his patients benefit from the most current treatment approaches available.
For patients with chronic venous insufficiency, DVT, leg swelling, or venous ulcers, Dr. Boyle’s message is simple: the best vein care does not require hospitalization or a lengthy recovery. His focus is on delivering high-quality, accessible outpatient care that is entirely centered on what patients need.
Innovation in Service of Patients: Dr. Boyle’s involvement in medical device development and national research is not separate from his clinical work. It is how he ensures patients have access to the most current, proven treatments available.
Accessible & Convenient: He believes the highest-quality vein care should be delivered in a setting that works for patients, not one that requires hospitalization or significant recovery time. Every aspect of his practice is designed around convenience and accessibility.
Trust-Centered Care: Dr. Boyle measures the success of his practice not only by clinical outcomes but by whether patients feel genuinely cared for. Building trust, communicating clearly, and putting patients first are the foundations on which his Pacific Northwest vein clinics were built.
