DO
Ki Jung, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and fellowship-trained specialist in venous and lymphatic medicine at Center for Vein Restoration. With comprehensive training in minimally invasive procedures and years of experience in hospital medicine, Dr. Jung brings a strong foundation in clinical care, patient safety, and evidence-based practice to the treatment of chronic venous disorders.
Dr. Jung pursued specialty training in venous and lymphatic medicine because he was driven by his interest in performing procedures and his desire to make a significant and meaningful impact on his patients’ quality of life. In vein care, he found a field where symptoms can be dramatically improved through minimally invasive outpatient procedures.
“Many people think vein problems are just cosmetic, but that’s not the case. There’s often an underlying disease causing symptoms like pain, fatigue, or skin changes. Left untreated, it can progress. My goal is to help patients feel better sooner and prevent complications later.”
During his time in internal medicine, Dr. Jung recognized that vein disease is often misdiagnosed or dismissed as a purely cosmetic concern by both patients and physicians.
His approach to care is rooted in kindness, clarity, and a commitment to treating every patient as he would a member of his own family. He prioritizes thorough communication, taking time to ensure each patient understands their diagnosis, the procedure, and how to care for themselves afterward.
“I want patients to feel comfortable, respected, and informed—especially in a setting that might otherwise feel intimidating. That’s what I would want for myself, and that’s what I give to every person I treat.”
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Jung creates YouTube content to share his medical journey with a Korean-speaking audience. His commitment to education and empathy extends beyond the clinic, reflecting his conviction that great care begins with genuine connection.
