Dr. Moore began his practice in Grapevine, Texas, and over the course of four decades, he has witnessed dramatic growth in both the region and the field of vein care. While trained in open vascular surgery, Dr. Moore became captivated by modern, less invasive approaches to treating vein disease after seeing an early demonstration of sclerotherapy. He pursued additional education in this then-emerging field, positioning himself well to adopt radiofrequency ablation techniques as they became available in the 1990s.
Known for his hands-on, old-fashioned approach to medicine, Dr. Moore believes the relationship between physician and patient is a sacred trust, one that thrives with time, conversation, and thoughtful, skillful care. Dr. Moore emphasizes the importance of patient participation in managing chronic venous conditions such as leg swelling (edema) and vein reflux. His diagnostic and treatment approach is grounded in careful listening, thorough hands-on physical exams, and patient education:
“Vein disease is manageable, but it requires involvement,” he says. “You can’t remove your legs like you can a diseased organ; you have to take care of them, and I help patients do just that.” – Dr. Philip Moore
His dedication to both clinical excellence and compassionate care has earned him generations of loyal patients, many of whom return for future treatment and refer their family and friends.
