His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Science in Biochemistry, and a Doctor of Medicine degree, all from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Medina further honed his surgical expertise during his general surgery residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Connecticut. He completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at St. Vincent Medical Center in Ohio, and he is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
