The Bronx’s most famous street, The Grand Concourse, has a rich and interesting history, dating back to 1890 when it was designed by a French immigrant to resemble the Champs-Élysées in Paris and connect the borough of Manhattan to the northern Bronx.

When visiting the Concourse, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, less than two miles from our vein clinic, is a must-see. It features sculptures, portraits, and special events dedicated to contemporary art, with a special focus on artists from underrepresented communities. It’s a place where visitors can reflect on the rich history of the Yankees and their contribution to both baseball and New York City's sports culture.

The Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, the former home of the American writer located in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, was a “quiet cottage, surrounded by fields and orchards and far from the noisy and polluted city.” Poe wrote some of his most famous works in the cottage, including Annabel Lee, Eureka, and The Bells.

Outdoor enthusiasts and creatives will love the New York Botanical Garden, a 250-acre oasis blending art, nature, and culture. Located two and a half miles from our Bronx-Grand Concourse vein clinic, the NYBG is home to iconic plant collections, including beautiful rose gardens, a Japanese garden, and the serene Conservatory. Symptoms of Vein Problems

The result can be:

These symptoms are often the result of venous insufficiency and are unlikely to heal on their own. This common vein condition is progressive, meaning it will get worse without treatment.

Vein Treatment Options

Vein care providers at vein treatment clinics use the most advanced minimally invasive treatments available today. CVR’s modern outpatient treatment plans are far superior to the older vein-stripping methods used in the past.

Treatments include VenaSeal, a proprietary medical adhesive that safely closes off varicose veins, and ClariVein, a two-in-one approach that uses an ablation device to inject a sclerosing agent that closes the vein with a tiny rotating wire tip, which destroys the diseased vein.

At Center for Vein Restoration, we offer a wide variety of other treatment options, including:

Vein treatments take approximately an hour or less to complete, and patients can return to their normal routine immediately with few restrictions. No staples or stitches are required because a simple band-aid covers the tiny incisions. Our in-office treatment requires only local anesthetics and recovery and symptom relief are fast, and there is little to no scarring.
