Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) is proud to serve patients at our Bronx-Pelham Bay vein clinic. The physicians and staff at CVR Bronx-Pelham Bay have decades of collective experience treating symptoms of vein diseases such as varicose veins, spider veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and other vein conditions related to chronic venous insufficiency (vein disease).

Our Vein Clinic in Bronx-Pelham Bay, New York

Our Bronx clinic is conveniently located off I-95 in Middletown – Pelham Bay. From I-95 North, take Exit 7C for Country Club Road. Merge onto McDonough Place and keep left to continue onto Bruckner Boulevard. Turn left onto Westchester Avenue and take an immediate left after the Dunkin Donuts and enter our parking lot on the left. Our clinic is located in the Pelham Bay Professional Center. Parking is also available at the Pelham Bay Parking Station, located less than a block to the north.

From I-95 S, take Exit Exit 8A for Westchester Avenue. Make a slight right onto Burr Avenue/Westchester Avenue. After the Dunkin Donuts, turn left and enter our parking lot on your left. The clinic is located inside the Pelham Bay Professional Center. Parking is also available at the Pelham Bay Parking Station, located less than a block to the north.

From the southwest, take Westchester Avenue all the way to our clinic. After you pass Wilkinson Boulevard, you’ll go under the train tracks. Take a right just before the Dunkin’ Donuts and CVS. Turn into our parking lot on your left. The office is in Pelham Bay Professional Center.

From Bronx and Pelham Parkway to the northwest, exit onto Bruckner Boulevard S and then continue onto Pelham Parkway S. At the Pelham Grand, turn right onto St. Paul Avenue. Stay on St. Paul until you reach Westchester Avenue. Turn left, then make an immediate right. Turn right into the parking lot at Pelham Bay Professional Center where our clinic is located.

Meet Dr. Cruz

Dr. Kristine Cruz began her medical career in 2002 when she graduated with her MD from Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe), Dominican Republic. She completed a medical internship in 2004 with Nassau University Medical Center, in Long Island, NY, as well as a surgical internship with Stony Brook University Medical Center (SUNY) in Stony Brook, NY in 2005. Her residency was also at Stony Brook, where she was chief resident from 2008-2009.

In 2010, after her Laparoscopic Surgery fellowship at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, Dr. Cruz dedicated her career to the practice of and research around minimally invasive procedures. She has presented on the “Past, Present and Future of Minimally Invasive Surgery” (2010) and on the subject of Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) multiple times. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons.

In 2018, she joined CVR to focus on the minimally invasive vein closure modalities used to treat venous insufficiency (vein disease). CVR continuously redefines the care of patients with venous disorders. Our doctors are trained in a wide variety of treatment options to provide each patient with personalized care.
