Meet Dr. Kim
If you’re looking for the top vein doctor in Framingham, MA, look no further than Pamela Kim, MD, RPVI. Dr. Kim is a board-certified vascular surgeon with additional certification in General Surgery and Vascular Interpretation. She has dedicated her education and research efforts to the study of vascular surgery (particularly minimally invasive surgery) and phlebology. She is also a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, American Venous Forum, and Society for Vascular Surgery.
After completing her BA in Biochemistry at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, Dr. Kim finished her medical degree at the University of Texas Science Center San Antonio. She spent several years at Stony Brook Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, where she completed a Residency in General Surgery. At Stony Brook Medicine’s esteemed Center for Vein Care, she pursued a Fellowship in Phlebology before completing a two-year fellowship in Vascular Surgery. Prior to joining Center for Vein Restoration, Dr. Kim served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Stony Brook Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kim has been widely published in a number of well-known, peer-reviewed journals, including The Journal of Vascular Access, Phlebology, and the Journal of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Kim also continues to actively educate her peers, presenting oral and poster presentations at major meetings and conferences.
