About Center for Vein Restoration in Phoenix, Arizona

Center for Vein Restoration offers affordable, state-of-the-art vascular care for patients suffering from venous disorders, varicose veins, and spider veins. Our vein center in Phoenix, Arizona, is staffed by Dr. Jeffrey Alpern and his team.

At our Phoenix vein clinic, Center for Vein Restoration offers fast, minimally invasive procedures that require little to no anesthesia. This allows patients to return to their daily routine shortly, just hours after receiving treatment. We offer outpatient procedures — such as sclerotherapy, laser ablation, radiofrequency ablation, and ambulatory phlebectomy — to safely and effectively treat varicose veins and spider veins.

Additionally, our vein center in Phoenix, Arizona, offers newer vein care treatment options: Vena Seal closes off damaged veins with a proprietary adhesive, and Varithena involves injecting a microfoam into damaged veins to collapse them and divert blood to healthy veins.

Located at 9515 W. Camelback Road, Suite 108, Center for Vein Restoration in Phoenix can be found at Camelback Plaza. It can be easily accessed from Arizona State Route 101 (also known as the Agua Fria Freeway).

About Our Location in Phoenix, Arizona

Officially recognized in 1868 and incorporated in 1881, Phoenix has become a major American city. On four separate occasions since the 1950s, the capital of Arizona has been named an "All-America City" by the National Civic League. It's no surprise that over 1.4 million people call Phoenix home.

Phoenix is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and bikers, with over 41,000 acres of desert parks and mountain preserves, and more than 200 miles of trails. It’s also home to the Phoenix Zoo, the Pueblo Grande Museum, the Thunderbird Arts Center, the Shemer Art Center, and the Latino Institute.

Meet Dr. Alpern

Dr. Jeffrey Alpern, DO, is a board-certified cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with more than 40 years of medical experience. A specialist in varicose veins, spider veins, vascular surgery, venous insufficiency, and venous ulcers, Dr. Alpern pioneered using minimally invasive treatment methods and has performed thousands of vein ablations.

A graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Alpern completed his thoracic surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic. After finishing his residency, he took on a postdoctoral fellowship in endovascular surgery.

With multiple faculty appointments, many publications, and several decades of medical experience under his belt, Dr. Alpern is highly respected in the cardiology and phlebology fields. He became the world’s first DO to perform a heart and heart/lung transplant and has previously served as the Surgical Director of Heart and Lung Transplantation at Temple University Hospital and Hahnemann University Hospital. He’s also an active member of the American Venous and Lymphatic Society, the director, and a founding member of Desert Cardiovascular Surgeons in Phoenix. He is associated with the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.

While working in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Alpern realized that many of his patients with cellulitis, leg ulcers, spider veins, varicose veins, venous stasis, or chronic insufficiency often had a poor quality of life, or had been previously misdiagnosed and treated. With this realization, he founded Vein Specialists of Arizona in 2011. He served as the director and offered simple outpatient procedures. In 2020, Dr. Alpern partnered with Center for Vein Restoration, and he continues to provide his patients with expert vein care.
