Our Vein Clinic in Rio Rancho, New Mexico

As with all of our centers, we provide state-of-the-art vein care with proven techniques to free you of the pain and unsightly appearance of varicose and spider veins.

All of our physicians are specialists in vascular medicine with years of training and experience in treating vein disorders. We will carefully diagnose your condition and recommend therapies based on your health status and preferences.

Vein Treatment Offered by Center for Vein Restoration

Among the treatments we offer are sclerotherapy, a minimally invasive surgical procedure. During sclerotherapy, a safe solution is injected into the diseased vein to seal it. The blood will then divert to healthy veins, and the swollen vein eventually disappears.

Thermal heat forms the basis of two common treatment techniques: laser ablation and radiofrequency ablation. In laser ablation, a thin fiber is heated with a laser and threaded through the vein to collapse it. Likewise, radiofrequency ablation uses the heat from radiofrequency waves to destroy the damaged vein.

Larger varicose veins benefit from ambulatory phlebectomy. In this procedure, the diseased vein is removed through two tiny incisions. You can consult with a Center for Vein Restoration physician who will go into detail about these methods and other newer innovations in vein care.

All these procedures use a local anesthetic. After a brief office visit and minimal downtime, you can return to your normal activities shortly after following some simple precautions.

Center for Vein Restoration in Rio Rancho is located near the Haynes Community Center and Park, and the Intel Corp. We look forward to answering any questions you may have about vein care and how we can improve your vascular health.

Symptoms of vein problems

When the tiny valves in your leg veins fail to circulate blood back to the heart it can be a sign of venous disease.

The result can be:

These symptoms are often the result of venous insufficiency and are unlikely to heal on their own. This common vein condition is progressive, meaning it will get worse without treatment.

Vein treatment options

Vein care providers at vein treatment clinics use the most advanced minimally invasive treatments available today. CVR’s modern outpatient treatment plans are far superior to the older vein-stripping methods used in the past.

Treatments include VenaSeal, a proprietary medical adhesive that safely closes off varicose veins, and ClariVein, a two-in-one approach that uses an ablation device to inject a sclerosing agent that closes the vein with a tiny rotating wire tip, which destroys the diseased vein.

At Center for Vein Restoration we offer a wide variety of other treatment options including:

Vein treatments take approximately an hour or less to complete, and patients can return to their normal routine immediately with few restrictions. No staples or stitches are required because a simple band-aid covers the tiny incisions. Our in-office treatment requires only local anesthetics and recovery and symptom relief are fast, and there is little to no scarring.
