On a ridge 500 feet above sea level, Garret Mountain Reservation offers several overlooks with panoramic views of northern New Jersey and New York City. It also features areas for both summer and winter sports, an equestrian center, picnic areas, pavilions, hiking trails, and more, making for a scenic and fun-filled family outing any time of year.

David Shevitz, MD, ABEM, DABVLM, has extensive experience providing minimally invasive outpatient treatment options for varicose veins and other symptoms of venous disease. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, and post-graduate training at American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and the American Medical Association.
After years of practicing emergency medicine, Dr. Shevitz changed career paths and trained extensively in the treatment of varicose veins. Since then, he has gained professional satisfaction from helping patients suffering from chronic venous insufficiency live active, pain-free lives.
