The Vein Center Located in Glen Burnie

The Center for Vein Restoration’s physicians, including Dr. Thomas Militano, MD, FACS, RPVI: Dr. Khanh Q. Nguyen DO, RPVI and Dr. Sanjiv Lakhanpal MD, FACS, have nearly 80 years of joint experience in Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and fellowship of the American College of Surgery (FACS). Located at 1600 Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the facility is less than two miles from the Old Glen Burnie Fire Department, sitting southwest of the intersection between Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway and Crain Highway. The Center for Vein Restoration is also a short drive from the UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UMBWMC).

To reach the Center for Vein Restoration easily, head north toward Hospital Drive from the UMBWMC. Turn left onto Hospital Drive. Turn right onto Crain Highway, and make a U-turn at Oak Manor Drive. The Center for Vein Restoration is on the right side of the highway within the Crain Towers Medical Office in Suite 408. Also, Crain Towers offers ADA accessible parking for properly registered vehicles and free parking for all other visitors of the Medical Office.

Meet Dr. Pakhanpal

A graduate of the Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, Dr. Lakhanpal is Board-Certified in general surgery and specializes in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. With more 20 years of experience, he is the President and CEO of the Center for Vein Restoration. In addition, he has focused on treating those suffering from venous insufficiency for more than a decade and works closely with the Center’s other physicians.

Meet Dr. Militano

Dr. Militano has more than 43 years of experience and is Board-Certified Thoracic Surgeon. He also serves as a diplomat to the Board of Thoracic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Surgeons.

Meet Dr. Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is the Corporate Medical Director of the Center for Vein Restoration and has practiced medicine for 14 years. He studied medicine at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and is Board-Certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
