Dr. Baxt has 28 years of experience as a double board-certified physician in venous and lymphatic medicine (one of only 1,000 in the country) and emergency medicine. He earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts, completing his emergency medicine residency (including Chief Resident and founding member of the emergency medicine residency program) at Yale University School of Medicine.
He has given international lectures on the use of ultrasound in medicine. At home, he enjoys time with his teen son and dog, as well as beekeeping, gardening, and fitness.
Bringing his extensive skills and background in treating venous insufficiency, Dr. Baxt leads Center for Vein Restoration’s Scarsdale, New York, vein clinic.
Dr. Baxt received many academic honors, including Phi Beta Kappa (academic honor society, University of Pennsylvania), Magna cum Laude (University of Pennsylvania), honor roll (University of Pennsylvania), Benjamin Franklin Scholar (University of Pennsylvania), Alpha Omega Alpha (medical honor society, Tufts University), and multiple Teacher of the Year honors, emergency medicine (Yale University).
As an experienced attending physician, assistant clinical professor, legal and medical consultant, teacher, lecturer, researcher, and author of numerous medical publications, Dr. Baxt customizes his approach to each patient.
