They successfully treat varicose veins, spider veins, tiny superficial veins (telangiectasia), and the deeper blue veins (reticular veins) of the face and trunk as an outpatient in their Salem, New Hampshire, clinic location.
Like all CVR physicians, Dr. Miller shares his broad knowledge through published articles in respected medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Vascular Surgery, and Phlebology, among many others.

Normand Miller, MD, FACS, RPVI, RVT, is a board-certified vascular surgeon specializing in treating symptoms related to vascular disease, including leg pain, swelling, cramping, restless legs, ulcers, and other vascular disorders. He has performed over 6,000 procedures to treat varicose veins and spider veins as an outpatient under simple local anesthesia. He stays up-to-date in the field by working extensively with experts in diagnosing and treating vein disease and attending several conferences annually on vein and aesthetic topics to further his knowledge and medical expertise.
After many years of treating patients with vascular disease, in 2005, Dr. Miller opened the Aesthetic & Vein Center MD (AVCMD) in Salem, New Hampshire, dedicating his practice to the office-based diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins and spider veins and the expanding field of aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Miller is skilled in many aesthetic procedures, including skin lasers for treating facial veins. He has also helped his patients improve their appearance through Botox, dermal fillers, and body-shaping techniques, including liposuction and CoolSculpting®. He is committed to the highest safety standards and adopts the latest technology to help his patients look and feel their best.
In addition to being a board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Miller is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery. He serves as a member of the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Vein & Lymphatic Society (formerly the American College of Phlebology).
Dr. Miller earned his medical degree at Laval University, Quebec City, Quebec. He completed his general surgery residency at McGill University (the most internationally diverse of any medical-doctoral research university in Canada) and vascular surgery fellowship at Englewood Hospital, Englewood, New Jersey.
