Center for Vein Restoration (CVR) is proud to serve patients at our Wayne vein clinic. The physicians and staff at CVR Wayne have decades of collective experience treating symptoms of vein diseases such as varicose veins, spider veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and other vein conditions related to chronic venous insufficiency (vein disease).
The board-certified physicians at Center for Vein Restoration are world-renowned vein specialists, authors, lecturers, and trainers on the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating vein disease. Commitment to patient care goes beyond physician credentials, however. Our entire team works together to provide our patients with a level of comfort and understanding.
Center for Vein Restoration’s Wayne vein center is on the Main Line, a series of Philadelphia suburbs located along the railroad tracks of the Pennsylvania Railroad in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Focused solely on venous disease, the vascular surgeon and experienced staff members at Center for Vein Restoration in Wayne can diagnose and treat vein problems using minimally invasive outpatient techniques that take an hour or less to perform and allow patients to return to normal activity immediately with few restrictions.
Our vein treatment is covered by most healthcare insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Start your trip to Wayne by visiting the Chanticleer Garden, less than three miles from our vein clinic. The foliage-filled botanical garden was opened to the public in 1993 and boasts 48 acres sprawled with over 5,000 plants. Each section of the garden was designed by one of seven horticulturists who continue to evolve their designated area, adding a new sense of vibrancy while staying true to the overall theme of the scenic space.
Visitors can pack a picnic, tour the gardens and encompassing Rosengarten estate, and attend various workshops held throughout the Chanticleer’s open season from April to October. The Chanticleer has been called the “most romantic, imaginative, and exciting public garden in America.”
Beauty and history continue to blend at the Wayne Hotel, about a mile and a half from our vein clinic. Built as ‘The Waynewood Hotel’ in 1906, a 1926 purchase by Paul N. Furman came with a name change and nearly $50,000 worth of upgrades. The hotel has since undergone several more changes in ownership, being repurposed to serve as a retirement home and, later, a synagogue. Local entrepreneur Stephen W. Bajus now owns it, and it has been completely reimagined to provide modern hotel amenities and give the historical, elegant feel its guests have come to know and love.
Two and a half miles from our Wayne vein clinic is Eastern University, a nationally-recognized Christian university enrolling about 7,000 students in a diverse range of academic and seminary programs intertwined with its core values of faith, reason, and justice. The school offers impressive athletic opportunities and various extracurriculars aimed at student enrichment and service.
Visitors can explore the great outdoors as they traverse the 2.4-mile-long Radnor Trail. What was once the Philadelphia & Western Railroad line has been repurposed and is now prepped for multiple uses, including walking, jogging, hiking, biking, and rollerblading. Also called the P&W Trail, the area has been considered a major development of Radnor’s recreational amenities since it opened to the public in 2006.
No visit to Wayne is complete without a trip to the Wayne Art Center, established in 1931. A non-profit organization committed to uplifting the community through the arts, the Wayne Art Center showcases art exhibitions, welcoming more than 35,000 annual guests. It provides art education for all skill levels, including visual and performing arts instruction. Visitors can take one of more than 500 classes and workshops at its expanded 30,000-square-foot facility on Maplewood Avenue, just a mile and a half from our vein clinic.
Wayne offers a welcoming environment for any visitor interested in history, nature, arts, and simple, small-town charm.

Our board-certified vascular surgeons offer a wide range of innovative treatment options for leg pain, swelling, cramping, itching, varicose veins, spider veins, restless leg syndrome, ulcers, and other symptoms of vascular disease.
When the tiny valves in your leg veins fail to circulate blood back to the heart, it can be a sign of venous disease. The result can be:
Itching
Swelling
Varicose veins
Spider veins
Feelings of heaviness
These symptoms are often the result of venous insufficiency and are unlikely to heal on their own. This common vein condition is progressive and will likely worsen without treatment.
Vein care providers at vein treatment clinics use the most advanced minimally invasive treatments available today. CVR’s modern outpatient treatment plans are far superior to the older vein-stripping methods used in the past.
Treatments include VenaSeal, a proprietary medical adhesive that safely closes off varicose veins, and ClariVein, a two-in-one approach that uses an ablation device to inject a sclerosing agent that closes the vein with a tiny rotating wire tip, which destroys the diseased vein.
At Center for Vein Restoration, we offer a wide variety of other treatment options, including:
Vein treatments take approximately an hour or less to complete, and patients can return to their normal routine immediately with few restrictions. No staples or stitches are required because a simple band-aid covers the tiny incisions. Our outpatient vein treatments require only local anesthetics. Recovery and symptom relief are fast, and there is little to no scarring.
