Wood Dale
Dominic J. Tolitano, MD received his medical training at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science. He served a fellowship in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center as well as a residency in general surgery at Michael Reese Hospital. For his work as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow at both medical institutions, Dr. Tolitano was awarded certification in cardiovascular and thoracic medicine.
A nationally recognized cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Dominic J. Tolitano joined Center for Vein Restoration in 2018. Dr. Tolitano, a Chicago native, currently serves as Senior Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon at Franciscan Physicians Hospital and Senior Vascular Surgeon at Mercy Hospital in Munster, Indiana.

James Wright, FACS, RVT, completed his medical degree at Loyola University, graduating cum laude with honors and going on to complete a General Surgery residency there as well. He undertook two fellowships: a Vascular Surgery fellowship at Boston University and an Endovascular Surgery fellowship at Nottingham University. A board certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Wright has participated in dozens of FDA-approved clinical trials and is published in all areas of vascular disorders.
Dr. Wright has served in a number of membership and leadership roles at a large number of prestigious professional associations, including: American Medical Association, Illinois Medical Society, Chicago Medical Society, American Venous and Lymphatic Society, and the American Venous Forum. He’s a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (formerly known as the American College of Phlebology). Dr. Wright is past president of the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society and founding president of the Chicago Endovascular Surgery Society. After founding the Midwest Vein Center, Dr. Wright partnered with Center for Vein Restoration in 2020.

Barbara Terpstra, MD earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She is board certified in OB/GYN and phlebology, which gives her a unique perspective on vein disease and women’s health.
Dr. Terpstra joined Center for Vein Restoration in 2020 after many years serving as Medical Director of the Orland Park location of the Midwest Vein Center. She is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (formerly known as the American College of Phlebology) and completed her Phlebology Fellowship through the Midwest Vein Center Training Institute. She is also a member of the American Medical Association and the Illinois State Medical Society.

Charles Mesh, FACS, RVT, graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (National Honorary Medical Society). After his General Surgery Residency at the University of Chicago, he completed his Vascular Fellowship at Northwestern University. Dr. Mesh has been a faculty member at Case Western Reserve University and Rush University. He was medical director of Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratories and has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in medical journals.
A board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Mesh specializes in the treatment of venous disorders. He practiced for several years with Midwest Vein in Chicago before joining Center for Vein Restoration in 2020. He is a member of the American Venous Forum, the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
