More About Dr. Attaran

Dr. Attaran recalls when her father gave her a toy medical set when she was eight. Taking quickly to the child-sized stethoscope, young Saina insisted on listening to her family’s heartbeat—and she was captivated. That’s when she decided to become a heart surgeon. Years later, using her world-class medical education and patient care experience in cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Attaran has focused on treating the vascular system, emphasizing that “the venous system is critical to our overall health.”

“After ten years as a cardiac surgeon, I was drawn to vein care because of the immediate positive results after treatment. Patient relief from pain and discomfort, as well as how quickly they got back to functional lives, their families, and their work, is why I fell in love with this specialty.” – Dr. Saina Attaran

Her experience and “skilled hands” in cardiac surgery are just a couple of Dr. Attaran’s many assets for her patients, including her communication skills, compassionate bedside manner, teamwork, and strong leadership capabilities.
