The Doctors Who Serve Arizona

Phoenix

Soohyun Kim, MD, RVT, is a caring, experienced vein physician who is passionate about relieving the debilitating symptoms of venous disorders using the most advanced diagnostic and minimally invasive treatment modalities available. Dr. Kim is board-certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. She earned her medical degree at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. She completed her residency in general surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and her fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ.

Dr. Kim is multi-lingual, speaking English, Korean, Japanese, and basic Spanish.

Gilbert & Mesa

Saina Attaran, MD, MRCS, FRCS, uses her exceptional surgical skills and experience to serve her patients suffering from pain, discomfort, and unsightly symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency. Using a collaborative, patient-centered approach, she has a whole-person patient care philosophy, saying: “The overall vein diagnosis cannot be overlooked because the symptoms can be a manifestation of cardiac disease, vascular disease, or abdominal conditions. Therefore, the patient should be looked at as a whole.”

Khanh Q. Nguyen, DO, RPVI, is native to the Maryland-DC-Virginia area. He attended the University of Virginia, where he studied biology and graduated Cum Laude (meaning "with distinction"). He earned his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri and trained at Botsford Hospital, part of the Michigan State HealthCare System.

Dr. Nguyen has been in practice for almost two decades and is the Corporate Medical Director for Center for Vein Restoration. He has personally performed more than 9,000 venous procedures, trained countless physicians around the country in venous techniques, and has been published in several medical and research journals.

Why Center for Vein Restoration Loves Arizona

Famous for year-round warmth and sun, the Phoenix metropolitan region offers plenty of outdoor activities, natural attractions, and cultural experiences. Dobbins Lookout South Mountain, the highest point one can drive to, has an elevation of over 2,000 feet and offers hiking, biking, and spectacular city views. If quirky fun is more to your liking, don’t miss the Musical Instrument Museum.

And, of course, the south rim of the Grand Canyon is just a three-hour drive and a world away from any other natural wonder in the United States. And while the weather at the Grand Canyon is best between April and June, any time of year is an excellent time to have your painful, unsightly varicose veins treated.

Why Center for Vein Restoration

The physicians and staff at Center for Vein Restoration possess years of experience in treating spider veins and varicose veins. In addition to minimally invasive surgical procedures such as sclerotherapy, laser ablation, and others, our experts will also prescribe lifestyle changes that can alleviate and prevent the pain and swelling of varicose veins.
