Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Sagar Patel, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland. He completed his Venous and Lymphatic Medicine Fellowship with Center for Vein Restoration, Greenbelt, Maryland. During his Family Medicine Residency at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana, Dr. Patel studied all facets of rural health, serving the medical needs of patients in unserved communities.
During his residency, Dr. Patel was awarded the “Story of the Quarter” award for going above and beyond in patient care. With this same passion for improving the lives of his patients, he now uses his proficiency in catheter-based technology, offering in-office, minimally invasive treatment for vein disease that requires no downtime.
Dr. Patel completed the Venous and Lymphatic Medicine fellowship program at Center for Vein Restoration, Greenbelt, Maryland. This 12-month program is designed to provide broad training in diagnosing and managing patients suffering from chronic venous disorders. He is board-certified in Family Medicine (ABFM) and speaks English and Gujarati.

Despite its urban location, Atlanta is a sightseer's dream. There are scenic green spaces such as Piedmont Park, unique entertainment venues like the Fox Theatre, plus one of the country's best panda exhibits at Zoo Atlanta. History buffs, shopaholics, and night owls will likely all find something to pique their interests: from Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthplace to Buckhead's top-notch bars and boutiques to sports-focused sights like the College Football Hall of Fame and Centennial Olympic Park.
The staff at Center for Vein Restoration will be with you every step of the way, from your first consultation to the day of your surgery and throughout your recovery. We're skilled in minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical methods to help our patients improve their vein health and live fuller lives. We treat each patient individually to ensure they receive the care they need to eliminate the pain of varicose veins and other venous disorders.
