Dr. Michael Cornwell, FACS, graduated from Howard University School of Medicine with high honors. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Cornwell completed his residency training and was appointed Chief Resident of General Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. In 2000, he became board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and remained an active member of the American College of Surgeons. Through his general surgical training and practice, Dr. Cornwell became proficient in a variety of treatments for venous disease, including radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy, and more. Through these new techniques, Dr. Cornwell realized he could improve the quality of life in patients suffering from this underdiagnosed and under-treated disorder.

Rachael Snow, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive arterial and venous disease training. She now focuses exclusively on treating superficial venous disorders, such as varicose and spider veins, which she sees as highly impactful but often underrecognized. Her decision to focus on vein care stems from a desire to provide empathetic, evidence-based solutions to a condition that significantly impacts quality of life.
Her goal is to ensure patients leave her care feeling heard, understood, and empowered. She welcomes follow-up questions and supports second opinions, emphasizing comfort and confidence in every treatment decision.

Tanya Ross Flohr, MD, is a dedicated vascular surgeon with a rich background in both clinical practice and academic leadership. After earning her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, she completed her residency in General Surgery and a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Virginia Health System. Dr. Flohr has since built a robust career, including her Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery role at Penn State Health.
With certifications in general and vascular surgery, Dr. Flohr brings a wealth of expertise to Center for Vein Restoration. Her commitment to patient care is evident in her individualized approach, which involves listening closely to her patients and tailoring treatments that address their unique symptoms and concerns.
