Dr. Richard N. Hamilton is an experienced board-certified physician, surgeon, and medical educator. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA, where he achieved cum laude honors (“exemplary academic success”). He completed his Residency training at Oregon Health Sciences University. His professional interests include Venous Disease, Vascular Ultrasound, Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, Robotics, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Hamilton is further credentialed by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine Credentialed (AIUM), which is a multidisciplinary association dedicated to advancing the use of ultrasound in medicine.
After decades of experience in the field of pelvic surgery and venous disease, Dr. Hamilton is focusing on venous and lymphatic medicine in Alaska, using his advanced skills in ultrasound technology and minimally invasive procedures to treat chronic venous insufficiency (vein disease) and associated symptoms.
