Luis Barajas MD, RPVI, DABVLM, is a native of Northwest Indiana, where he attended Purdue University and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He moved to Southport, Indiana, as a medical student and completed his medical degree at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Returning to the Northwest Indiana region, Dr. Barajas completed his residency training in Family Practice at Methodist Hospital in Gary/ Merrillville. He received board certification in venous medicine from the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, recognizing his skill and expertise in the vein field. He is also a registered phlebology sonographer, demonstrating enhanced skills in the use of ultrasound technology to evaluate vein patients.

Nancy L. Harthun, MD, MS, FACS, RVT, is an experienced vascular surgeon and clinical researcher board-certified in both Vascular and General surgery by the American Board of Surgery, specializing in minimally invasive treatment to relieve symptoms related to chronic venous insufficiency. She is a distinguished Fellow of the Society of Vascular Surgery and a Visiting Professor of the Association of Women Surgeons.
