Chandran Vedamanikam oversees Center for Vein Restoration’s clinic in Rio Rancho. Dr. Vedamanikam is a board-certified phlebologist in venous and lymphatic medicine as well as in family practice.
Dr. Vedamanikam has over 25 years of diagnostic experience and is among 500 physicians nationwide using the newest mechanical, chemical FDA-approved method to treat venous insufficiency. A physician must complete the required training or experience qualifications to achieve board certification, meet the continuing medical education requisites, and pass a stringent certification examination.
Dr. Vedamanikam studied ultrasonography at the University of New Mexico in 1991 and then received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland, in 2004. He came back to New Mexico and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces in 2011.
Having had many years of experience treating patients with vascular diseases, Dr. Vedamanikam opened Southwest Vascular in 201 before joining Center for Vein Restoration.
Dr. Vedamanikam is also privileged to be a part of the Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation, which provides medical missions in various countries, including Honduras. Dr. Vedamanikam feels very blessed to provide a service to people who would likely not get this care otherwise.
